Tales Of A Traveling Quilter- This guild lecture program covers packing tips for quilting travel, 5 day quilting conferences, quilting cruises, and international travel. A trunk show during the lecture will show projects made at instructor lead classes, as well as quilts made from unique fabrics and patterns found while traveling. I will also show my award quilts: Perseverance- 1st Place AQS Paducah, One Cake, Two Cake, Red Cake, Blue Cake- Best of Show at NQA, and many others.
English Paper Piecing Class: This class is for every level of student from beginner to advanced. We will start with the basics to make a simple mug mat and then progress to fussy cutting different size hexagons for flowers. I will share lots of tips for basting, cutting, organizing, and designing. You will leave class inspired and able to work on any English Paper Piecing project.
Linda is a resident of McKinney, Texas and began quilting 12 years ago after retiring from neonatal nursing. She has won numerous awards in local, state and national quilt shows including: AQS Paducah and Phoenix, Houston IQA, Pacific International Quilt Festival, Shipshewana Quilt Festival, Quilt Odyssey, Road to California, and many others. Linda enjoys sharing her knowledge and experiences she has gained from her quilting journey.

How To Create an Award Winning Quilt- Discusses everything from starting your show quilt to entering your quilt in a contest and what the judges are actually judging. I will show a variety of award winning quilts. Fee: $250 + travel
The Fab 5: Five Fabulous Quilts by Linda Neal and Jackie Brown- Join Linda and Jackie as they show 5 award winning quilts. Linda will discuss the quilt top and Jackie will share her quilting design and implementation. Fee: $400+travel

English Paper Piecing Workshop- This half day workshop is designed for all levels of quilters. Learn the basics and quickly move up to fussy cutting. Linda has lots of "tricks of the trade" to share after making her 10,509 half inch hexagon quilt: "Perseverance." Fee: $250 for a 4 hour class ( 20 students maximum )
Beginning Applique- This full day workshop explores the freezer paper/starch method of applique that Linda uses in her award winning applique. Fee: $400 for 6 hour class ( 20 students maximum )

Creative Domestic Machine Quilting- This 6 hour class, is designed to take the frustration out of quilting on your domestic machine. Learn how to make perfect feathers, cross hatching and stippling from an award winning quilter. Fee: $45 per student ( minimum of 6 students, maximum of 12 )
